Hat-trick for Priaulx
We may have given up on football and Hamilton may have
just missed the F1 title, but in the world of touring cars
Britain still has a hero in the shape of BMW pilot Andy
Priaulx.
We interviewed Priaulx back when he was an up-andcoming
star but since then, the 33-year-old has gone from strength
to strength and the BMW Team UK’s win at the Macau secured a third
championship title in the FIA World Touring Car Championship both
for Priaulx himself and for BMW. Meanwhile, the privateers’ title went
to the Wiechers-Sport team – also running BMWs – to make it a clean
sweep for the brand. |
