Cooper Works Returns
If you like the front-wheel-drive way
of doing things, you’ll be delighted to
learn that the John Cooper Works kit
has been relaunched for the revised Mini.
Available at Mini dealers from
September, the kit brings with it 192
bhp in return for £1095 including VAT.
The essentials of the Works kit are
a replacement exhaust, sports air
filter and a remap, with an overboost
facility extending the maximum torque
from 185 lbf.ft to 199 lbf.ft for brief
intervals. The result is 0-62 in 6.8
seconds and top whack of 144 mph. |

in the flesh, who report that it’s “almost a carbon copy.” Read more>
Open Haman
The new 3-Series convertible has only

brought out a styling kit for the car.
By Hamann’s standards it’s pretty
restrained though: just bumpers,
sills and rear boot spoiler.
