M5 Hurricanne
They’re calling it the world’s most
powerful street-legal BMW and
since they’ve strapped a pair of
dirty great blowers to the V10
M5, we’re not about to argue with
G-Power’s Hurricane.
Dubbed the G-Power Evo II
supercharging system, the conversion
uses a single belt-driven ASA compressor
for each cylinder bank, blowing through
a dual-flow intercooler set-up for an
end result of 730 bhp and 516 lbf.ft. Oh
and a set of lightweight Mahle pistons
plus remapped engine and SMG gearbox
controls.
As you’d expect, the Hurricane is
fast enough to make a standard M5
feel sluggish, which in itself is some
achievement. The Hurricane gets to
62 mph in just 4.2
seconds, by five
seconds it’s doing
124 mph and its
maximum speed is
a buttock-clenching
211 mph. All of which
explains the 21 inch
rims making room
for G-Power’s own
six-piston brakes
with 400 mm discs
and the firm’s coilover
suspension kit.

89,000 Euros and
they’ll convert your
own M5. More from
