200 mph M3
OK, so BMW’s M division
has upped the ante by
stuffing a V8 into the
new M3, but if you really
want wheeled 3-Series
madness, put in a call to German
tuners G-Power and ask for their
V10 conversion.
Using the M5 motor in an
E46 M3 CSL, G-Power’s demo
car has a handy 550 bhp on tap
and 428 lbf.ft torque – enough
to catapult it to 62 mph in just
4.2 seconds, while on the highspeed
Nardo track, it cracked
208 mph. And if that’s not enough,
they’re working on a 750 bhp twinturbo
conversion for the V10.
