| CRYOGENICALLY-TREATED DISCS |
|
Cambridge Motorsport Parts is now offering Nitrac cryogenically-treated brake discs for BMWs that are regularly taken out on to the track. These discs have a much higher resistance to warping, cracking, flaking and fadings, and also promise to last two to three times longer than untreated brake discs. By chilling down the brake discs gradually in liquid nitrogen in excess of minus 180°C, the steel is toughened right through to the core. This means the disc is more resistant to wear and less prone to cracking. Discs are available in a choice of eight-, 12- or 16-grooved, non-handed grooved, drilled, drilled and grooved and Black Phosphate coated. Current BMW applications include E36, E46 and E90 saloons, with prices starting from: £148.36. Interested? Find out more by calling CMP on: 01462 684300. |
