Several major features are said to make Richbrook’s NLVC super useful. An incredibly tough Teflon tether affixes securely to the tyre’s valve, which ensures that the cap can never be lost. The cap itself is free to spin within its tether.

Of course, the advantages of having valve caps present on all wheels is well known. Not only do they prevent dirt and water ingress into the delicate valve mechanism, but they reduce air loss from a defective valve thanks to their own internal seal.
