Hot on the heels of the recent 1 Series (F20) launch, BMW specialist and tuner AC Schnitzer has already got its engineers, designers and technicians working flat-out on an extensive product range for this model.

Planned are performance upgrades, exhaust systems, suspension solutions, aerodynamic components and interior accessories. However, various alloy combinations in 18- and 19-inch 8.5J sizes, with 225/40/18 or 225/35/19 tyres, are already available. Four sets are offered: Type IV in BiColour or silver, or Type VIII BiColour or lightweight forged BiColour.

At the Frankfurt Motor Show, AC Schnitzer also launched its 1 Series M Coupé (E82) performance upgrades pushing power up from a standard 340bhp to 400. As part of the package, the tuner offers its own twin sports exhaust with chromed racing tailpipe, high performance braking system, racing suspension, aerodynamic bodykit and complementing interior upgrades. Of course to finish off there are AC Schnitzer wheel/tyre combinations available too.

AC Schnitzer also launched its tuning and styling combo package for the 650i Convertible at Frankfurt. The power boost alone has taken this model up to 540bhp with an enhanced acceleration from 0-60mph in just 4.4 seconds.
