BMW has revealed its latest revamp of the X6 Sports Activity Coupé, which will hit the showrooms from Spring 2012.

Since its market launch three years ago, BMW has sold more than 150,000 models, which far exceeded what was expected. The latest incarnation now has a more striking front and rear to bring it in line with other facelifted models that have BMW’s new kidney grille shape. The new X6 is also the first vehicle in its segment to be fitted optionally with adaptive LED headlamps and represents a new interpretation of the brand’s hallmark twin circular headlamps. At the rear there’s newly designed lights with LED technology.

Paint options have been extended to now consist of two non-metallic and eight metallic colours including Marrakech Brown metallic (seen here). The standard equipment range of the new X6 also includes 19-inch alloys and for the X6 xDrive 50i, new double-spoke designs in bi-colour.

MarNewsEibach

Respected German suspension manufacturer, Eibach, has launched its impressive range of dynamic enhancements for BMW’s 6-Series Coupe and Convertible models, as well as the 1-Series.

Eibach has access to chassis and technical data for all BMW models, resulting in a kit that offers factory levels of fit and finish, but combined with substantial improvements in handling and control over the showroom model.

The first enhancement available is the Pro-Kit; pre-stressed springs that lower the car by around 30mm and its centre of gravity. These springs feature a unique progressive coil that offers a softer section for everyday driving, combined with a stiffer, more aggressive section further up the spring to equip the car with precise road holding and cornering.
